The Roswell Galacticon is THE Premier Family Event of Roswell, NM. The Roswell Galacticon is the UFO capital’s version of a “Comic Con”, complete with famous guest personalities, amazing booths full of art and merchandise, fun events for the whole family, and costumes galore!

This cosmically proportioned event started in 2010 and has grown over the years in participation and media coverage, including earning Outstanding New Event of the Year at the 2012 New Mexico Tourism Industry Recognition Awards during the Governor’s Conference on Tourism.

 

The Con side features a Vendor Hall with a wide variety of art and merchandise for sale, table top and role playing games, celebrity guests, and much more.  You are sure to enjoy our partner event, the Roswell SciFi Film Fest, where dozens of films from across the world compete for awards and are available for viewing ONLINE.​

 

There are many family oriented activities over the two day event including…

The Vendor Hall featuring sci-fi and fantasy artwork, comic books, cosplay props, jewelry, crafts and a wide variety of collectibles.

Cosplay costumes are encouraged throughout the event!

A fantastic kids area entertains, inspires, and educates children of all ages.

​

Cosplay Karaoke is a very popular evening event held every year at a local restaurant and bar.

​

Gaming events include table top style board games, card games and role-playing games with  tournaments.

​

A feature of all cons is the chance to meet celebrities and icons of SciFi movies, television and stand out authorities in the various con cultures such as Cosplay and Steampunk.
